SWIM TEAM

Summer club swim team is a fantastic way to introduce children to the lifelong sport of swimming.  It also provides a way for communities to connect, and for kids to learn how to contribute to a team while becoming confident, strong swimmers. All in the convenience of your neighborhood pool!

Requirements:
Swimmers do not need to have previous swim team experience, but they must be able to swim one length of the pool comfortably.

Coaches will assist in stroke technique perfection and endurance building; however, please note that swim team practices do not replace swimming lessons.

Practice:
The season will begin in early June (specific dates vary depending on location) and will conclude at the end of July. Practices are typically held Monday – Friday mornings between 6:30am and 9:00am. Times vary depending on location.

Swim Meets:
Our swim teams compete against local teams in the Horsetooth League. Meets are held Wednesday or Saturday mornings. The Horsetooth League concludes its season at the end of July by competing in the city championship meet.

Swimmers also have the opportunity to qualify for the state swim meet.

Swim meet dates and times will be posted by Memorial Day Weekend.

Support:
